Every homeowner in the lake region has typed that sentence into a Facebook group. Same question, every week — buried under a pile of comments, half of them out of date. Good contractors were losing work they never even heard about. We built a place where the answer is just a phone number away — no scrolling, no guessing, no middleman. One directory. Local contractors. Direct calls.

Meet the founder

I'm William McCarver, and I built the Sebago Lake Contractor Index because I kept running into the same problem from two directions. Homeowners couldn't find a contractor they trusted. Good local contractors were missing work simply because people didn't know where to look for them. This directory is locally owned and operated, run out of the lake region it serves — not a national platform with a Maine landing page.
