Access to Sebago Lake and the connected lake system — Long Lake, Brandy Pond, Highland Lake, Crystal Lake, and Moose Pond — runs through a small number of marinas and public launch points distributed across the region.
Seasonal dock slips fill quickly each spring. Marinas in Naples and at the Sebago Lake basin often commit their slips before the season opens. Contact marinas in late winter — February or March — rather than waiting until the snow is gone. Some maintain waiting lists year to year.
The lake system here is geographically connected: Sebago Lake feeds into Brandy Pond through the Songo River, and Long Lake runs north from Brandy Pond toward Harrison and Bridgton. A boat launched at the Sebago Lake basin in Standish can reach Long Lake through the Songo River lock. Understanding which lake a marina sits on helps property owners choose the right access point for their location.
